A round is a set of three matches, with the best of 2 matches advancing and or winning.A match is a set of ten throws - Each league day you will participate in 4 separate matches against randomly assigned throwers.This means that if the B winner, beats the W winner in a best of 3 matches, they must play another best of 3 matches in order for the B winner to win the Championship.The W winner must lose two Rounds in order for the B winner to win the Championship.The Regional Champion is the person who wins 2 out of the 3 matches first.The final Championship round features the winner of the W bracket and the winner of the B bracket.The B bracket finalist advances to the final round against the W bracket finalist.After losing their first game, players drop into the B bracket for final placement. Double elimination means that each person must lose twice.Think of the first 7 weeks as qualifying for the 8th week Regional Tournament based on Head-to-Head match results.Overall Head-to-Head results from the first 7 weeks of competition determine the seeding for the double elimination Regional Tournament playoff bracket The Championship Tournament in week 8 determines the MTN AXE Breck Axe Throwing League Champion! Scores are recorded by the Judge in the official WATL Scoring App and uploaded each week after competition is completed.Scores are based on points earned for 10 qualifying throws, Head to Head results are not a consideration for standings but will determine seeding in the Championship Tournament.The first 7 weeks everyone gets at least 40 competitive throws per night.

Practice is optional but please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of competition to check in and review assigned opponents for your 4 rounds of throwing.Practice throws and warm up begin for up to one hour before (be on time or early) and Head-to-Head matches begin promptly at scheduled time.Axe throwing leagues run for 7 weeks with Youth starting Tuesday Nights from 4pm to 6pm and Adults Monday Nights from 6pm to 8pm.
